Easily soluble in ethanol, acetone, esters, hydrocarbons and chlorohydrocarbons, slightly soluble in water, mainly used as a polymerization catalyst.
Cumene hydroperoxide is flammable when mixed with ammonium, organic matter, acid and flammable matter. It can be explosive when mixed with reducing agent, sulfur, phosphorus, etc. Explosive by heat and impact.
