Application
Aloose is a hexose, a rare monosaccharide isolated from the leaves of African shrubs. The chemical equation, CH2OH(CHOH)4CHO, is soluble in water but almost insoluble in methanol. Alosaccharide is the C-3 differential isomer of glucose.
