Trimellitic Anhydride, scientific name trimellitic anhydride, also known as partial anhydride, molecular formula is C9H4O5. The appearance is white flakes, the melting point is 164-166°C, and the boiling point is 240-245°C.

Trimellitic Anhydride is soluble in boiling water, acetone, 2-J ketone, dimethylformamide, ethyl acetate and cyclohexanone. During the reaction, it is soluble in absolute ethanol, slightly soluble in carbon tetrachloride and toluene.
