Application
1.Lufenuron is used to fight fungal infections, since fungus cell walls are about one third chitin.
2.Lufenuron is sold as an agricultural pesticide for use against lepidopterans, eriophid mites, and western flower thrips. It is an effective antifungal in plants.
3.Molt inhibitor, chitin synthesis inhibitor; insecticide .Lufenuron is used for the control of Lepidoptera and Coleoptera larvae on cotton, maize and vegetables, and of citrus whitefly and rust mites on citrus fruit.
4. It is also used to control fleas on pets and cockroaches in houses.
